The engines are warming up in view of the summer and the concerts. Tuesday (7 May) was a day of announcements for Rimini. One of the biggest innovations in view of summer 2024 comes from Rds radio: in addition to the traditional live broadcasts from Piazzale Kennedy (from 28 June to 7 July), this year the Rds Summer Festival will appear in the city in Piazzale Fellini. And guests capable of attracting the general public are announced, waiting to know all the names arriving, the first announcement is immediately effective: in fact, the winner of the Sanremo Festival Angelina Mango will take the stage in Rimini.

In addition to the usual appointment in Piazzale Kennedy for ten days of live radio broadcasts until the Pink Night weekend, the Rds Summer Festival, with six stops in six different Italian cities, will have as grand finale Rimini on 26 and 27 July, in Piazzale Fellini.
The mayor of Rimini Jamil Sadegholvaad, connected with Milan for the press conference to launch the musical tour, was able to announce the first of the stars expected for the Rimini stage: directly from the victory in Sanremo and from the starting blocks of Eurovision 2024 where he represents the ‘Italy can’t wait to warm up on the stage in Rimini Angelina Mango. The hosts of the two Rimini evenings of the Rds Summer Festival in Piazzale Fellini will be the energy and friendliness of Francesca Romana D’Andrea and Filippo Ferraro.
The eligible guests
As always, the true protagonist of the Rds Summer Festival 2024 will be music, with a program of live performances by the most important names on the Italian and international music scene. The names announced are: Achille Lauro, Aka 7even, Alessandra Amoroso, Alfa, Angelina Mango, Arisa, Articolo 31, Baby K, Benjamin Ingrosso, Bnkr44, Boomdabash, Boro, Capo Plaza, Cara, Cioffi, Clara, Coma_Cose, Dotan, Elodie, Emma, Fedez, Francesco Gabbani, Fred De Palma, Gaia, Geolier, Il Tre, Irama, Kaze, Leo Gassmann, Leon Faun, Mahmood, Mameli, Maninni, Martina, Matteo Paolillo, Mazzariello, Mediterraneo, Merk & Kremont, Mr.Rain, Negramaro, Noemi , Olly, Paola & Chiara, Rhove, Rocco Hunt, Rose Villain, SLF, Sophie and The Giants, The Kolors, Tiromancino, Tony Effe, Vale LP. The cast will be revealed near each stage and will make the audience sing and dance of their respective Italian cities.
Generation Z
Samara Tramontana and Gaia Garavaglia – speaker of Rdsnext, the group’s social web radio created by GenZ for GenZ with GenZ – will be present at all stages as hosts of the evening openings. They will also have the pleasure of involving and presenting emerging talents, thanks to the project “Rds Summer Festival, with Galbanino the stage is yours! Vol.2” in collaboration with Open Stage. For the second year, the initiative promoted by Galbanino – a brand of the Lactalis group – will give singers and bands from all over Italy the opportunity to perform on the Festival stage in front of thousands of people, opening the concerts of the greatest artists. An exceptional jury will preside over the casting, to which it will be possible to register through the dedicated section on the Rds and Open Stage website starting from May 15th, and will decide the young artists who will be able to live the dream of performing and sharing the stage with the their musical idols. Not only that, but at the end of the festival an artist will be chosen who will have the opportunity to record and publish an unreleased song produced by the famous producer CanovA.
Coca-Cola is also among the main sponsors of the initiative, which will liven up the Festival space by offering moments of leisure, games, sampling activities and gadget distribution, with the possibility for the public to enjoy further elements of entertainment and win prizes and exclusive experiences.

Starting from Tuesday 21 May, one month before the start of the Festival, it will be possible to book on the website rdssummerfestival.it.
