“I think he’s a parac*lo, I don’t understand who he really is. I didn’t like his behavior”, were the words of Nicholas Borgognoni towards his former partner Mida, still competing on Amici 24. The former students were asked to judge a performance. “I didn’t expect it,” commented the singer.
The final of Friends 24 is approaching. The former students of the program were asked to comment on the performances of their classmates still competing, Dustin and Marisol for the dance category, Mida, Petit, Holden, Sarah and Martina for the singing category. In addition to compliments for the progress made in recent months, there were also different criticismslike those that the dancer Nicholas turned to Midas.
Nicholas’ commentary on Midas
As seen in the daytime on April 30, the former students of the program were called back into the studio to comment on the performances of their classmates still competing, who chose to show a performance that in their opinion went better than the others. Once Midas’s turn came, the former dancer Nicholas did not spare criticism towards him, going beyond the single performance and commenting on the behavior he had in the months spent together:
I think that artistically he has made a journey of improvement, even on the covers, but something is missing in this performance. Talking about the behavioral side of Midas, I think he’s a great paraclet. I didn’t like how he has behaved lately, if I had been in Casetta I would probably have intervened, because he doesn’t play with other people’s feelings and I think he played enough. I saw some scenes that made me say, who is Midas? I did not get it. The most striking scene for me was when he said ‘if I had been in the run-off with Gaia I would have left’. Knowing him, it’s a gesture she wouldn’t have made.
Midas’ reaction: “I was disappointed”
Midas did not expect such a comment from Nicholas, who he considered to be his friend. “I’m disappointed. What does this have to do with the performance?“, commented the singer after seeing the video. The student believes that in reality he is different from how he showed himself during the program and not vice versa: “I wasn’t parac*lo, if I had ended up in the run-off with Gaia I would have really done it. I didn’t expect it, he’s the parac*lo. I only had nice words, I expected a comment on the performance and that was it.”
