The Capannelle-Centre of Rome connections

The connections between the Capannelle Hippodrome and the city center have been made easier through a maximum efficiency mobility plan and the collaboration between Rock in Roma and Eventi in Bus, the service that will provide shuttle buses at the end of the concerts to accompany spectators to the center of Rome.

“The Festival– declared Sergio Giuliani in the press conference – remains in Rome, with the Capannelle Hippodrome which is our natural headquarters. The great challenge is how to connect peripheral urban spaces and invent new solutions. This year we have a portal dedicated to parking, you can book spaces via the app and also train tickets that we make available to the public to return from Capannelle to Termini Station. We are imagining new solutions also because we want to bring Rock to Rome with spin-offs in the most peripheral areas of the city, such as Corviale and Tor Bella Monaca”.

Finally, regarding the Capannelle Hippodrome, the historic home of Rock in Rome, councilor Onorato concluded by saying: “Yesterday the tender for the management of the Capannelle Hippodrome came out after 20 years. The new manager will be able to make investments in this area. We imagine Capannelle as a temple of music not only in summer, but also in winter, a stone’s throw from Gra, in one of the most populous areas of Rome”.
