The musicians were barricaded, closed, away from prying eyes in Daniele Cavalli’s Heavy Soul Darling recording and production studio (in Villa Cavalli). Paul McCartney also appears to have made a brief appearance.

The frontman especially “is at home” in Florence and has been thinking about moving to Tuscany with his family for years, perfect retreat frame for a few months a year, also to work on writing new songs. After all, with Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts, Jagger already recorded the hit “Living in a ghost Town” a few years ago.

The leader of the Rolling Stones is not the first figure from the world of entertainment to give in to the lure of the Florentine Oltrarno. Let’s not forget that between 1999 and 2000 also the well-known Irish actor Daniel Day Lewis he spent 10 months working as a cobbler, for free, in the workshop of Stefano Bemer, the shoemaker known throughout the world for his wonderful made-to-measure shoes, which cost something considered luxury: for a pair of shoes they start at 500 euros.
