The sedentary lifestyle clinic opens in Via Etruria

First day of activity, this morning, for the Sedentary lifestyle clinic, opened by the health company at the clinic in via Etruria (open every Friday from 9am to 1pm). This is a space available to users for an initial assessment of the physical activity path to undertake. The opening of the Sedentary lifestyle clinic is part of the Prescribe to FITT project, an initiative designed to combat sedentary lifestyle and promote a healthy lifestyle, also through the creation of walking groups and the organization of guided physical activities.

Similar clinics are also open in Bracciano, in via Dominici (every Wednesday from 9 to 12) and in Ladispoli at the “Casa della Salute” (every Saturday from 9 to 12).
“I am pleased to inform all citizens that we are opening this clinic in Civitavecchia in the clinic on via Etruria – says Valentina Iannucci, director of SISP ASL Roma 4 – which is part of the Prescribe to FITT project. This space is useful for prescribing physical activity in terms of frequency, intensity, time and type”.

“Let’s say that we are experimenting with all those services that will soon enter our community homes – explains Maria Cristina Serra, director of District 1 of ASL Roma 4 – which will not only be a place of care but the fulcrum of a great integration , also with prevention clinics”.
“You can access freely in district 1 the polyclinic in Via Etruria in room 209 – explains doctor Alessandro Marcelli – or request access via an email sent to “[email protected] or you can call from 9am to 1pm everyone on Fridays on 06 96669364. Once you log in, a questionnaire is administered which allows you to establish the person’s degree of sedentary lifestyle. After the administration of the questionnaire, the actual medical examination takes place and then actual groups will be organized, obviously divided on the basis of different parameters to practically promote physical activity”.
