News in Cagliari: the Monreale Center opens | Cagliari

The World Health Organization in 1998 defined the concept of well-being as “an emotional, mental, physical, social and spiritual state that allows people to achieve and maintain their personal potential in society”. Physicality, emotionality and mental health are, consequently, concepts that cannot be considered individually but must be evaluated and addressed in an integrated way. The project of the spouses Jenni Vacca and Marco Frau starts from this assumption, two professionals whose goal is to create a place where it is possible to dedicate oneself to the health of the body and mind at 360 degrees. From the desire to combine one’s skills and work synergistically towards a common goal, Monreale Center was born: not a mere wellness center but a place to go to improve one’s physical appearance and rediscover oneself, whose inauguration is scheduled for Saturday April 20th in via Anassagora 2 in Cagliari.

Within the structure, the activity is divided into three macro areas: aesthetic beauty, physical activity and psychophysical health.

At the head of the aesthetic part we find Jenni Vacca, a professional beautician with many years of experience, who will offer both basic treatments such as lamination, pedicure and hair removal, and advanced aesthetic treatments: a specialist branch that uses technology to treat various problems such as, for example example, cellulite, localized fat deposits, skin flaccidity and wrinkles.

In addition to Jenni, there will be other professional figures taking care of the aesthetic part such as, for example, a dermopigmentist and Dr. Eleonora Peralta, pharmacist and cosmetologist specialized in skin analysis, which will analyze the state of health of the skin and its appendages (hair and nails) through the use of cutting-edge machinery, to identify the specific needs of each person and provide them with a personalized protocol.

The motor part is managed, however, by Marco Frau, a master’s doctor in motor sciences and a graduate in physiotherapy, who has been working in the world of disability for more than 20 years. He will be the head instructor who will manage the enormous gym inside the structure and, in the future, also the physiotherapy component.

The gym, however, although equipped with all the most modern equipment, was not designed to be enjoyed individually. In fact, there are numerous group courses, yoga lessons, gentle gymnastics and total body, but also activities with personal trainers and promotions aimed at the over 60s. A place of exchange where the individual is not just a number, but every activity it is tailor-made based on the needs and requirements of the person. Marco will not be alone on this ambitious journey. Alongside him we will find a young team updated on the most recent trends and methodologies in the sector, formed by Emanuele Usai, Marco Pusceddu and Jessica Atzeni.

The psychophysical health part will be taken care of, however, by various professional figures. Nutritionist Simona Mameli will provide personalized meal plans to promote health and manage specific medical conditions. The holistic practitioner Andrea Zuddas will work on the balance and general well-being of the body through a combination of alternative techniques and practices that work on the causes and not just the symptoms. Psychologist Letizia Asunis will evaluate diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of emotional, behavioral and psychological problems. Furthermore, an ophthalmologist, a cardiologist, a physiatrist and none other than the world paracanoe champion Victoryia Pistis Shablova will also be part of the great Monreale Center team.

The Monreale Center presents itself as a multifunctional center, a unique environment where everyone can feel at ease and find the support they need to improve their physical and mental well-being. But what makes it truly special is the fact that it is a place where the word “accessibility” is not just a concept, but a tangible reality. With its dedicated routes and specially designed facilities, Monreale Center will welcome and support people of all ages and abilities. In fact, the center has not yet opened but is already looking towards the future. In September Jenni will write a new chapter in her career, starting to specialize in oncological aesthetics. Its future goal is to transform the Monreale center into a point of support for all women who have fought against cancer, bringing the most advanced oncological aesthetic techniques to Sardinia, and eliminating the need for these women to undertake long journeys to find the well-being of one’s body and self-confidence, making those resources accessible that too often are out of reach on the island.

Marco, on the other hand, is an expert in hydrokinesitherapy: a form of therapy that involves the use of water as a means for the recovery and improvement of muscle, joint and neurological function. During his career he often found himself in contact with patients suffering from strokes, suffering from ALS, multiple sclerosis, or autistic and quadriplegic children, and this led him to deal with particular problems and complex realities. This is how the desire was born in him, shared with his wife, to create a center that would convey a message of inclusiveness and sharing.

Monreale Center aims to be the community’s point of reference for anyone who wants to improve their appearance or wants to regain their physical and mental health and self-confidence. Not a mere wellness center but the wellness center.
