Physical and sporting activity, the project for schools without a gym or an unusable gym starts: deadline 30 May

The national project officially starts today, April 16thSetting up unconventional spaces for physical and sporting activities in schools” aimed at primary and lower secondary schools.

In particular, schools without an internal school gym or with a gym that is totally unusable, and which intend to set up a space suitable for the installation of the exhibition, are particularly interested.

The project, promoted by the Minister for Sport and Youth, through the Department for Sport, and by Sport e Salute SpA, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Merit, has the aim of setting up unconventional spaces in areas already present inside or outside schools to allow motor, physical and sporting activities to be carried out safely and to create innovative and economically sustainable solutions to allow physical activity and provide schools with multi-sports equipment and material .

The following are required to participate requirements:

• absence of the internal school gym;
• or condition of total unusability of any school gyms demonstrated by a current closure order or declaration of total unusability of the premises used as gyms;
• availability of an internal or external space, and in any case pertinent and annexed to the building where the school is located (for example courtyards, external areas, classrooms, etc.), suitable for the installation of the exhibition, with a minimum surface area of ​​approx. 50 up to a maximum surface area of ​​700 m2.
