FELTRE (BELLUNO) – The demolition site of the gym of the Negrelli institute in Feltre comes to life: the work of removing the green panels surrounding the structure has begun which will then be demolished, thanks to a special machine, in its concrete parts . A work that started yesterday, thus giving the definitive green light to the transformation of the Province building that houses Itis and Surveyors.
The reconstruction of the school
The demolition and reconstruction work on the Negrelli institute in Feltre continues at full speed. A project worth almost 20 million euros financed by Pnrr funds. As is known, the entire school will be demolished to make room for a new structure which will be divided into four blocks, all communicating with each other, and which should respond more adequately to the new way of teaching in schools.
Work times
As mentioned, to prevent the construction site from interfering with school activities, the demolition will take place in steps. The first block to be demolished is the gym (so much so that a tensile structure was installed to allow physical activity to be carried out). Over the past few weeks, a whole series of preliminary works have been carried out, including cleaning the area and cutting the plants. Over the course of the last week, therefore, the entire work of disconnecting the underground services (water, gas and electricity) took place, so as to isolate the gym building from the rest of the school building. An essential intervention to be able to proceed with the removal of the green panels of which the gym building is made up. An operation that began yesterday amidst the interest and curiosity of the school population and residents of the area. Once the removal of the panels has been completed, which will take a few days, a special machine, which is already on site, will come into operation and will be used for the demolition of the concrete works. Once this step has been taken, the old gym of the Negrelli institute will no longer exist.
