Many people over the last few years have gotten into the habit of drink water and lemon in the morning, as soon as you wake up and just before having breakfast. There are those who do it with the absolute belief that this can help in eliminating toxins, to purify oneself and therefore lose weight, while there are those who instead think that this drink can still even benefit one’s health, so much so that a daily ritual of well being.

Surely there is something to be said for taking care of your own hydration starting in the morning it is fundamental given that water alone is already able to play a key role in the functioning of the organism, being involved in many processes and promoting excellent efficiency.

But is drinking lemon water in the morning really as good as they say? The habit of drink water and lemon in the morning is undoubtedly one of those practices that has aroused greater interest in the context of well-being and above all weight loss.

There are even some people who even believe that this habit has significant benefits, such as improving digestion and increasing metabolism as well as making a notable contribution to weight loss.

Can you drink lemon water every day?

We know for sure that lemon is an excellent source of C vitamin and antioxidants, which can support the immune system and in general the entire health of our organism. However, there is no convincing evidence that mixing lemon water really has all these miraculous effects on weight loss or overall given that weight loss it is based more on a combination of balanced diet and exercise.
