July 16th will be the date turning point of the case of false Covid-19 vaccinations in the Vicenza area. That day had already been set, a few weeks ago, the hearing to decide on the postponements to judgment and, now, it is also the one in which it will be decided whether or not to accept the six requests of plea bargain. Among the latter, that of the doctor Daniela Grillone Tecioiuwho must answer for ideological falsehood, corruption and embezzlementtogether with her husband Andrea Giacoppo who helped her make the system work false vaccinations during the pandemicand the other four suspects who chose the alternative procedure, three doctors who are accused of having contributed to the preparation of false Covid-19 vaccinations and one patient who is accused of having paid 100 euros to the doctor in her clinic in Vicenza (who billed them as an “ozone therapy session”) to have a false positive swab and therefore the issue of the Green Pass.
Plea bargaining requests
The doctor’s lawyer, Fernando Cogolato, and the deputy prosecutor responsible for the case, Gianni Pipeschi, have agreed to 2 years, with a suspended sentence. While the husband’s lawyer, Fausto Taras, agreed for his client 1 year and 8 months. Even in this case the sentence would be suspended. However, the judge for the preliminary investigations of Vicenza, Antonella Crea, will be decide whether to accept or not their requests and those of the other suspects. And it will always be her, on that same day, who will decide who among those who did not choose for the alternative rite will have to face the trial in the Berico courtroom.
Madame, Camila Giorgi and the other suspects
That third Tuesday of July will therefore also be decisive for knowing the fate of the singer Madame, stage name for Francesca Calearo (lawyer Enrico Mario Ambrosetti), together with the former professional tennis player Camila Giorgi (lawyer Cristian Nicotra) and the other 17 people registered in the register of suspects, including the doctor Erich Volker Goepel (lawyer Massimo Malipiero). Who, for various reasons, have been accused of ideological falsehood, corruption and embezzlement. Among them, only the singer from Vicenza has already admitted her guilt through a shared post on his Instagram page and published in January 2023. From the other suspects, for the moment, there has never been any comment.
The start of the investigation
The case of false vaccinations exploded in 2021, when Ulss 8 Berica reported some anomalies in two medical studies of the territory: that of Vicenza by Dr. Grillone Tecioiu and that of Fara Vicentino by Dr. Goepel. In fact, in both clinics a suspicious amount of vaccinations had been recorded, to say the least. Then the investigations by the investigators of the Vicenza flying squad, which they had collected wiretaps and images of video surveillance of the medical studies in question. Then the two white coats were arrested and placed under house arrest at the beginning of 2022. A measure which, however, a few months later was canceled for both. This is because there would have been no risk of the crime being repeated.
