Is titled “Infectious diseases: public health challenges between prevention, surveillance and risk communication” the new training seminar for journalists organized by AUSL Romagna with the Emilia Romagna Region, the Order of Journalists and the Journalists Foundation of Emilia Romagna and scheduled Monday 13 May, from 9am to 1.30pm, in Ravenna, in the DEA Conference Room of the Santa Maria delle Croci Hospital (7th floor, Viale Randi 5).
In light of the experience of the Covid -19 pandemic, the course intends to provide elements of analysis and orientation in the field of public health which concern in particular aspects related to the management of a pandemic, the prevention and surveillance of infectious diseases, vaccines and the phenomenon of antibiotic resistance, with the aim of deepening the ethical relationship between health protection and the right to information and reflecting on the role of journalism in combating disinformation.
The event – which is part of the 2021-2025 Regional Prevention Plan – is aimed at journalists (registrations on the platform www.formazionegiornalisti.it). Participants will receive 4 training credits. Info and program attached
