In the meeting held today at the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, ACC presented the first draft protocol for the placement of workers. For the first time since the beginning of the discussion, we worked on texts which, although important, we believe still do not contain the sufficient guarantees required regarding the priority transfer of all workers from Stellantis to Acc, in addition to the necessary inherent conditions criteria and methods of such steps which must necessarily be agreed upon.
The workers of Stellantis Termoli constitute the fundamental and priority pool to which ACC must refer. Since the text is not sufficient at the moment, we have asked that the points of the Ministry document of 14 March last be resumed which reiterates that the search for external professionals can only concern skills not found in Stellantis – Termoli. We also ask that there be management with specific meetings with the trade unions. for the remaining pool of workers faced with objective problems of professional reconvertibility and motivated reasons of voluntary inclusion in ACC.
In the next few days the Ministry will work on a new draft which will be discussed at the next meeting on 8 May.
We also ask that the specific Automotive table be convened as soon as possible at Mimit for the Termoli area so that we can discuss the employment situation of Stellantis and its related industries, as well as the tables not yet held in the other territories.
