The singer of Apulian origins, lives in Cellino San Marco, his home town which is located in the province of Brindisi. The location is that of the Tenute Carrisi which is located in a magical place, an eighteenth-century farmhouse which was owned by Al Bano’s grandparents, the singer here created a vast spectacular spacesurrounded by greenery, with woods and vineyards.
There is a nice big pool, spa, hotel, restaurant and also a tourist complex. So on one side the family is staying and on the other side there is the structure that hosts the tourists. Albano Carrisi he lives there with his extended family and carries on the business, both touristic and wine and oil production.
“In 1969 I bought the land and in 1971 we started building. There was neither water nor electricity, but Mrs. Romina Power liked all this so much that I couldn’t help but continue. I spent the crazy sum of 20 million lire at the time to have the Enel electrical cabin” said Al Bano. Inside there is also a room that is used for banquets, conferences and parties.
The villa is majestic, especially the part where the family lives. The Hotel instead is called Happiness and boasts “a restaurant-pizzeria, the 1973 cellar, a wine shop, a small church, the artist’s management offices, a recording studio and the spa called ‘È la tua vita’, a name born from the paraphrase of the title of one of his famous songs”.
A little gem that not everyone knows is that the Tenuta di Al Bano also boasts a personal church. Certainly a dream location that also reflects the passions and interests of the singer who continues to perform with extreme success all over the world.
