Max Giusti and the nightmare journey by plane to reach Olbia: the misadventure

The journey to Sardinia proved to be full of misadventures for Max Giusti, finding himself having to deal with a blackout that even occurred on board the plane. The comedian recounted his terrible adventure on Instagram, informing his followers of what happened. Luckily the story ended with a happy ending, even if the flight was considerably delayed, 2 and a half hours more than the indicated time.

“Risk of panic scenes”

The episode occurred yesterday, Friday 21 June. Max Giusti was leaving for Sardinia, to enjoy a few days of holiday in Olbia.“In recent months I have taken many planes for work, more or less always on time. Today I decided to take a day off, until Sunday, but my flight has two and a half hours late. Precisely on the day of departure for the holiday, a series of unexpected events occurred.

After waiting for more than two hours at the airport to be able to board the aircraft, Giusti unfortunately discovered that the “surprises” were far from over, on the contrary. The passengers had recently boarded the aircraft and were still settling in when the vehicle suddenly had a blackout and everything went out. An certainly not encouraging premise, which obviously caused a certain nervousness among the people present. Maintaining his smile, the comedian even tried to calm things down:“Let’s see what they tell us, because if we all get up running together, there are many of us and there is no welcome downstairs. We understand what they tell us. Let’s stay calm, it’s a situation I’ve never experienced. Let’s hear what they tell us, let’s do things but with order, otherwise we’ll get hurt.”

The happy ending

Luckily nothing serious happened. The plane had not suffered serious damage and was able to leave immediately. Clearly the arrival in Olbia occurred with great delay. “Everyone arrived alive!! It’s 10.57pm”, this is what was written by Max Giusti, who wanted to reassure his followers. “Anyway, thanks to the Volotea staff who really did everything to get us started.

Compliments to the commander, without his tenacity and professionalism, along with that of his crewwe would never have left“, commented the comedian.“And above all we would have taken a risk scenes of panic due to the blackout that occurred while we were in the parking lot”, he concluded.
