In the midst of Milan Fashion Week dedicated to the Men’s collections for Spring/Summer 2025today was the big day of Fendi. The Maison, led by Silvia Venturini Fendi, presented the new collection, which aims at a reinterpretation of the traditional preppy style (collegiate aesthetics) in a fresh and renewed key, between soft and delicate tones alternating with bright nuances, games of asymmetries, stripes. The next appointment is in September, when the fashion house will open the Milan Fashion Week for women’s fashion, then 2025 will be that of the celebrations for the centenary of the brand (founded in Rome in 1925 by Adele Casagrande and Edoardo Fendi, the grandparents of the Director artistic). A long-time friend of the Maison was also present at the June 16th fashion show: Marco Mengoni.

Marco Mengoni he was already a guest of Fendi. We saw him at the previous Milan Fashion Week show, in January, in the leather bomber jacket, a month before the singer went on stage at the Ariston wearing the Maison’s creations. During the Sanremo Festival, in fact, the singer opted for several looks, one trendier than the other, including one with the protagonist skirt, designed precisely by Fendi (and much criticized by General Vannacci). Marco Mengoni today certainly has a much more casual style than in his early days. His growth as a man and artist led him to review his relationship with the mirror and make different choices in terms of clothing.

It was an evolution dictated by the need for lightness, after years of thinking too much. Today he has stopped being too strict with himself and loves cheerful clothing, which conveys a desire to live. At the fashion show Marco Mengoni wore a thin striped one-shoulder sweater, combined with a pair of Bermuda shorts, a must-have item in his recent outfits. He completed everything with coordinated accessories: belt, sports moccasins, short socks. The touch of color is given by the shoulder bag, in a bright yellow.
