what does the last (disturbing) photo mean

“I am not out of the woods yet”: with this metaphor, Kate Middleton, in a post on Instagram, made it known that she is not out of danger yet, despite the good progress she is making against the cancer diagnosed a few months ago. In the photo published to accompany the message, the princess is immortalized under a tree in what appears to be a forest, with her gaze turned upwards. It is not clear whether the image of her, which portrays her in the middle distance, is, so to speak, from the archives or dates back to these last troubled weeks.

In the post in question, the future Queen of England made it known that she will be present tomorrow, Saturday 15 June, at Trooping The Colour, King Charles’ official birthday. It is therefore probable that she will be seen looking out from the famous balcony of Buckingham Palace together with the other members of the royal family. This is, for her, the first public event since last Christmas. Great anticipation, therefore, for her return.

Middleton wrote in the message that there are good days and bad days. In particular, she made it known that in the bad ones she feels “weak, tired and she has to listen to her body while resting”. Then, she explained that the treatments will last “a few more months”. And finally she commented: “I’m learning to be patient, especially with uncertainty. Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body and giving myself this time needed to heal“.
