Como’s lake once again at the center of the international scene. This time in Italy he got married Rajon Rondo, historic face of the NBA who left in April 2024 at the age of 38: behind him 16 games of basketball played and 7,584 assists, 15th ever in the NBA. It goes without saying that all of American basketball arrived on the shores of the lake, at Villa Balbiano, where the great basketball player got married to his partner, the designer Latoia Fitzgerald. A pharaonic and extremely luxurious wedding, culminating in a series of fireworks which illuminated the entire lakeside for more than 20 minutes. Among the guests present Travis Scott, Kyle Kuzma, singer Miguel, model Winnie Harlow and Jay Wayne Jankins, well-known artist best known as Jeezy, who performed live during the evening. Although the official images are intended for an international magazine, the guests posted the shots taken during the ceremony on their social media profiles. Here they are.
Photos are prohibited during the ceremony (there is talk of an exclusive with a very famous international newspaper) but those of the party have circulated online on social media. At least three changes of dress for the bride: for the ceremony the choice seems to have fallen on a one-shoulder piece, the first of the party was a mermaid lace model (complete with gloves) and the final one a mini-dress with jubilation by Swarovski. A luxurious floral arrangement (created by Vincenzo D’Ascanio) with a riot of pink roses in the center of the room in a stunning pyramid, as well as the arches on the lake shore under which a more than spectacular cake had been prepared. Six tiers of wedding cake with over three thousand embedded Swarovski crystals, lace inserts (which mirrored the bride’s dress) and more than 100 fresh pink roses. Even the NBA star has relied on the creations (which are in their own way true works of art) of Mami Louise Milano with the founders and creative minds Fabiana and Valentina who personally took care of everything down to the smallest detail (even protecting the cake from a few drops of rain with special umbrellas). The next day, surrounded by friends, the couple then spent a day on the lake.
