There have been many rumors about her health in recent months but now she is the one talking about herself, sending a letter to her Irish Guards to apologize for not having participated in the final rehearsals before the parade Trooping the Color in honor of the king’s birthday.

The dress rehearsal of the annual military parade, which is held every year on the occasion of the official birthday of the monarch, is one of the events which the Princess of Wales is called to attend. With the accession to the throne of Charles III, the traditional Trooping the Color parade will be on June 15th but today the princess should have attended the last exercise before the official release. Trooping the Color is a tradition of 260 years in which troops in full uniform parade before the king with their ceremonial flag, also known as the “colour”.
The Prince William should participate in Trooping the Color as commander of the Irish Guards, taking an active part in the parade.
King Charles, however, unlike what happened last year, will not participate in the parade on horseback but aboard a carriage together with Queen Camilla. Although he has actively returned to the helm of the country, he is still a man of a certain age who is treating a tumor.
