“Have you ever felt like throwing up?” Howard Stern asks her in his Howard Stern Show regarding certain kisses given on screen to some colleagues. And Emily Blunt, currently in theaters alongside Ryan Gosling in The Fall Guycandidly replies: «Absolutely!».
Then adding: «It’s not that I was always disgusted, but I certainly didn’t particularly appreciate some [baci] of these: it wasn’t nice to work with some actors, let’s say. Sometimes you establish a relationship with a colleague that is totally easy and enjoyable, but that doesn’t translate to the screen. The chemistry between two actors is a strange thing. It’s something that either exists or doesn’t exist.”
But Blunt has a trick: «I try to find one thing I like about whoever I’m in front of on set. I have to find her… even if it’s just one», he jokes. «It may be his beautiful laugh, or how he addresses other people, or his kindness. There’s always something [di positivo]. You try to appreciate that trait and then appreciate your colleague when he plays the character you must like in fiction.”
