“King Toretto” explained to SportMediaset the long rehabilitation process after the accident suffered in the ring

Daniele Scardina it’s coming back. Step by step “King Toretto” he is recovering after the illness he suffered at the end of a boxing match which led him to a coma before being reborn. The 32-year-old from Rozzano he returned home a few months ago and, thanks to the support of family and friends, he dreams of being able to walk again and live his passion for sport. “Without God I would have died. I must thank all those who are close to me in this journey that I am facing – explained Scardina in an exclusive interview for SportMediaset issued to Davide De Zan-. It was very nice to come home and be able to spend Christmas with my family.”

Thanks to the love of his mother Mariella and the support of the health workers, Scardina has started to appreciate the little things that distinguish everyday life, never ceasing to be excited, but above all wanting to return to being the champion known to the general public. “I wake up in the morning, I train, I have breakfast, I do physiotherapy, lunch and then I go back to training – underlined “King Toretto” -.
