The showdown between Lucio Presta And Amadeus it came with a river interview of the manager on The newspaper. Presta represented the host’s interests for a long time: the relationship between the two was suddenly interrupted shortly before the fifth Sanremo Festival, the last for Amadeus, who, after the expiration of the contract at Rai, will move to Nove. Based on what Presta declared during the interview, Codacons has chosen to intervene with a complaint, stating that they will not go into the merits of the end of the professional relationships.

The Consumers’ Association, Codacons, presented a complaint to the Rai Supervisory Commission. Why did Codacons intervene after what Lucio Presta said? In the interview, the manager referred to the host’s alleged request on the management of Suzuki Arena“that he was paid by the company la Artistic direction and that they were recognized 100 percent of the rights ownership of the format”. We also underline that a Rai Supervisory Circular specifies that it is not possible to make hosts or journalists the owners of a format. The reason? Avoid that there may be various advantages, including economic ones.
“In light of such provisions and of statements by Lucio PrestaWe have decided to submit a complaint to the Rai Supervisory Commission itself And to the Anti-Corruption Authorityso that they verify the truthfulness of the manager’s declarations and ascertain, in the exclusive interest of Rai users, any violations of the existing provisions, adopting the appropriate measures”, explained Codacons, taking up the Rai Supervision circular which specifies that it is “in the interest of the concessionaire company to prevent artists and presenters from benefiting from unjustified advantageous positions”.
According to what was reported by the agent, the son would have essentially given in to the tenant’s requests, with an award of 90 thousand euros, invoiced by the tenant as “artistic direction”. Hence the alleged contravention e the immediate intervention of Codacons: now all that remains is to wait for the checks on what Presta said, as reported in Rienzi’s statements.
