There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of him, eight years after his passing. A loss that he still struggles to processin the caption the greeting message on his birthday is concise and thrilling: “You will always be”.
On several occasions the presenter of Morning Five had the opportunity to address the topic just some time ago very truewelcomed into the studio for a long interview by the landlady, Silvia Toffanin, visibly excited and declared: “In the end he is there, he always is anyway. She is with us. When the Christmas period approaches we look for the photos, we look at them, we feel it very close to us.”

A wound still open for Federica Panicucci, who on his birthday wanted to remember his late father by wishing him a happy birthday. “You will always be. Happy birthday papy,” he writes in the caption attached to the photo of the man who he passed away eight years ago now, it was 2016, after seeing his health conditions suddenly deteriorate. The presenter spoke about it on several occasions, in several interviews she confessed openly about the pain of her death.
In a face to face with Silvia Toffanin, who welcomed her into the living room of very trueexplained how difficult it was for her to overcome mourning, despite the fact that in the meantime many wonderful things had happened to her in life. She hadn’t been able to hold back her emotion when talking about her father Edoardo: “He left a little early and gave a lot to us, even to my children. I dream of him very often, I dream that he hugs me and smiles.”
And not only that, because speaking of the last moments spent together, he added: “However, I haven’t worked out many things. When I asked the doctors: ‘How much longer does he have to live?’, they replied: ‘Six months.’ In less than three hours he was gone.”
