In the episode of Beasts airing tonight Francesca Pascale revealed to Francesca Fagnani some unpublished aspects of his private life. Starting from the paparazzi photos with Paola Turci: “Made by a person close to Berlusconi, from Forza Italia, close to the sovereignist area, who has always particularly hated me.” Fagnani then asked if it was a politician or a photographer, Pascale specified: “They were sent by a person very close to Matteo Salvini who wanted to give the entire Forza Italia package to Salvini. I tolerated this very badly. There was a very specific plan to make me a problem to be solved and so she followed me and they broke the rules of morality to hurt me.” Fagnani then asked if she had only felt violated or also liberated by those: “I felt violated.”

Fagnani reminds Pascale of a statement she made: “She declared that she asked Berlusconi to marry her every day.” “No, not at all – Pascale replied – I never felt the desire to get married, also because then maybe he would marry me and it was fake (with reference to Fascina, ed.) and frankly, rather than fake, nothing is better.” Fagnani then reminded her that he had said that if she had been invited she would have gone there smoking a joint and Pascale, laughing at her, admitted: “Yes, I would have liked to smoke a joint”. To then add: “Berlusconi was lucid, he never did certain foolish things with me.”

The interview then moved on to Pascale’s private life and family relationships. When Fagnani asks her if her childhood was “happier or unhappier”, Pascale explains: “Happy, even though like all little girls I was also in love with my father, but the trust that a little girl has towards her father was deceived, betrayed, mortified by his violent and disaffected way of treating us”. At that point Fagnani insists “are you talking to me about violence?” and Pascale confesses: “There were violent attitudes, but I prefer to keep it to myself.” And finally to the journalist’s question “just tell me what your relationship with your father is like today?”, Pascale admits: “It doesn’t exist”.
