Now, however, everyone is wondering how he is doing Kate Middleton. For now Kensington Palace remains silent, but according to some rumors the princess is also improving and her presence at an upcoming official event cannot be ruled out.
“Sorry, Kate can’t be here”
On April 18, 2024 the Prince William he returned to his royal duties, working for a day as a volunteer in the charity Surplus for Supper, which deals with the redistribution of food. The newspapers did not miss his slightly more serene and calm expression which, many say, bodes well for Kate’s recovery. The same goes for the visit to St. Michael’s Church of England High School in Rowley Regis, Sandwell, last April 25, during which the heir to the throne declared: “I’m sorry Catherine can’t be here too. She would have liked it very much.” A phrase which, although imbued with a certain melancholy, did not sound pessimistic at all.
Plus on the occasion of the birthday of Prince Louis, on April 23, 2024, the princess wanted to publish a shot of the child taken by her on social media. If we go a little further back in time, then, we cannot forget that Kate has broken the silence that surrounds her since her speech on March 22nd, when she announced that she had cancer, expressing together with her husband the pain for the attack on Sidney in a post on X dated April 13th.
Many small clues, according to the tabloids, which would communicate not only the princess’s firm desire to return to her work as soon as possible, but also a cautious trust in the treatment and recovery process. After all, at least for now, we have to rely on these small details to try to understand something about the real health conditions of the Princess of Wales. Even with the awareness, of course, that a brief smile from William or a photo of Louis certainly cannot give us the picture of the situation. Kensington Palace, in fact, continues to remain silent. There is no concrete update either on Kate’s response to treatment or on a future return to official duties. Just rather comforting news, although the contours are still very uncertain.
A “next commitment”
- quoted the spokesperson of Katewho declared: “The princess might feel like taking part in a public engagement in the near future”but “this will not automatically mean that Kate will return to official commitments”. If the news were confirmed it would be a wonderful surprise for all those awaiting the future Queen’s public return. It doesn’t matter if it isn’t a constant resumption of commitments. Kate could start again in small steps, gradually, based on her medical advice.
It is not clear, however, which event he could participate in. Among the next events on the agenda for the royal family there is the visit of the emperors of Japan next June, the Trooping The Color on 8 June 2024 (an appointment at which, says the Daily Mail, Charles III would also be “determined” to participate), Royal Ascot from 18 to 22 June 2024 or the Wimbledon tennis tournament (from 1 to 14 July 2024), or even the traditional Garden Parties.
We cannot even exclude that a possible return of the princess will take place on an occasion that is not among those mentioned. In the last few hours, the media have been pointing out that cancer treatments could cause a decrease in immunitary defense by Kate.
If there really will be his participation in an official commitment, it will most likely be well thought out by the medical staff and announced at short notice.
