Ligabue, attack on Clerici after Belve: Fagnani’s reaction

Genuine and outspoken. As always. When Fagnani asked her: “What makes you angry”, Antonella Clerici said diplomacy put aside and launched into the unexpected j’accuse against Ligabue, one of the most iconic voices in Italian music: “I get angry when they tell me I taste too much like sauce. Many singers didn’t come to my Sanremo Festival due to some sort of prejudice. And one said: ‘It tastes too much like sauce’ “. Has the mystery (and the culprit) of the “sugo-gate” been revealed? Not even for a thought. Ligabue, not even two hours after the interview with Antonella Clerici was broadcast, responded to her via “X” (the former Twitter) completely denying the version given by the presenter to Belve:

“Dear @antoclerici obviously I have never said something like that, certain phrases don’t belong to me”

The message – concise, clear and also rather “cold” – was also shared by Francesca Fagnani (with an accompanying message: “The answer has arrived”), while at the moment Antonella has not yet intervened to reply to the singer. What will happen now? Given the premise made by Clerici before the “bombshell” accusation launched against the singer (“If it’s not true I’ll apologize.”, a message of peace from him could arrive in Ligabue soon. Unless Antonella decides not to believe the “Liga” denial. At that point, the sauce gate could provide further and unpredictable twists.
