Edoardo Franco lives his adventure on the Island of the Famous, but he has a score to settle with chef Bruno Barbieri.
Edoardo Franco, yes winner of the twelfth edition of Masterchef Italiais ready for a new television adventure, this time atIsland of the Famous 2024.
The chef, who he won over the public with his charisma and his colorful 80s style shirtswill engage in an experience light years away from his natural habitat: cooking.
“I decided to participate to test a lifestyle completely different from mine,” he has declared in the official presentation video of the program.
Native of Varese, Edoardo is 28 years old and has a background in the hotel sector which allowed him to approach the culinary field.

After graduating, Edoardo Franco embarked on an adventure in Edinburgh with his girlfriend at the time, working as a rider for a delivery service. However, after the end of the relationship and some work setbacks, she chose to return to Italy. The passion for cooking, which he has always cultivated by reading and experimenting with new recipes, led him to victory on Masterchef and to consolidate his love for gastronomy.
After the success in the famous cooking show, Edoardo published the book “Come on! My cuisine without borders” (published by Baldini + Castoldi), a collection of recipes enriched by stories of his experiences abroad and his personal vision of cooking. In addition to the stove, Franco’s interest extends to music, a field in which he expresses himself under the pseudonym Franco Carisma. Currently single, he continues to be very active on social media, where his Instagram profile has almost 200,000 followers.

With this participation in the Island of the Famous, Edoardo Franco puts himself to the test in a completely different context, demonstrating his adventurous spirit and his ability to adapt to new and challenging situations. In the meantime Edoardo Franco left an issue with Bruno Barbieri pending: this is a “debt” incurred upon entering the Masterchef program. In fact, during the auditions for the cooking show, Edoardo Franco wore a strange one dungarees that impressed the starred chef. Bruno Barbieri made Edoardo Franco promise to get that suit as a gift if he entered the programa: the amateur chef then won Masterchef but it is not known whether he has paid off his “debt” with Bruno Barbieri.
