Among the guests on Sunday 21 April at Che tempo che fa, at Fabio Fazio sul Nove, Renato Zero was the protagonist of one of the funniest skits. The singer presented his new song, a hymn to life, and then spoke about the relationship he himself has with life. At a certain point in the interview, Fabio Fazio mentioned the close friendship that binds Zero with Ornella Vanoni, a regular guest on the Sunday program. At that point Ornella was called by the presenter and elegantly burst into the interview of her long-time friend. The two singers recalled the golden times of their teenage friendship, leaving room for rather funny and nice anecdotes. “Before I was a mess! I was always drunk, I still remember the night of one of my birthdays when I came back and fell on the bed…then they put the pacemaker in me”, began Vanoni. “I, on the other hand, have a stent in my heart,” Renato Zero later said. “Then they will put the pacemaker in you,” she replied. At that point Zero ironically said “let me scratch it go”, with lots of laughter from the studio audience and from Fazio himself.

Then the interview took a more serious turn: “Publicly I have to compliment Ornella”, confessed Renato Zero, “Because she deserves everything that life has been able to give her […]Above all, this lucidity of hers which is enviable even for a twenty-year-old boy, this memory of hers so pungent that it almost allows her to live by flying”, he said. “She flies, she never has her feet on the ground”. At that point Vanoni responded to her friend with her usual irony: “in fact I keep falling”, referring to the latest accidents he has faced. Fazio’s interview also entertained the audience at home and web users, who immediately went wild with tweets and memes, already viral, about the trashiest moments of the cheerful scene.
