With the RR 525, Voge presents a new sports car. It comes from the Honda CBR500R, but the new Voge engine has more displacement and power.

voge is a brand that is making a lot of noise this year there are many new things to come. Under the magnifying glass this time is the well-known Honda engine of the CBs: the Voge engineers have decided to increase the engine capacity from 471 – which in name makes 525 – to 494 cc.
The 525RR
La Voge 525 RR has already been presented in China. A 500cc super sports car with aggressive lines and an engine, from 2023, a little more powerful. Loncin is the engine manufacturer par excellence in China and for years has been inspired by the Honda-branded 500 cc engine and for the new 525 RR, the engine It was taken from 471 cc Honda to 494 cc Voge. The RR’s 48 horsepower, A2 compliant, has now become 55 hp (just under 41 kW), but when it arrives in Europe, it will most likely be with 48 horsepower (35 kW).
The innovations are not limited to the engine, in fact the Voge aluminum swingarm appears to have been slightly modified compared to that of the Honda CBR 500 R. The most significant change concerns the front brake. While Honda uses a Nissin dual-disc system on the CBR, Voge uses a larger single disc with a radial Brembo caliper. Moving further up, towards the optical group, we notice that in the midst of the large headlights a camera has been placed for videos or snapshots.
The weight of the Voge 525 RR is very interesting: it weighs a good 20 kilograms less than the Honda CBR500R. The weight is around 172 kilograms and one wonders how Voge managed it, probably thanks to the smaller 4-litre tank, the presence of a single front brake disc and the apparently lightened wheels. But overall, these changes would only compensate for half of the “weight loss cure”.
The electronics
THEThe Voge’s LCD display is well studied, with numerous interfaces and an extensive menu. There is ABS and traction control, the ABS can also be deactivated. It is not known if the 525 RR has the Bluetooth system.
We are faced with a complete bike that is certainly making headlines. It is positioned against the rival and “inspirer” CBR500RR, but will he be able to overcome it? We’ll only find out by testing it and comparing the two bikes.
