2200 hires with new Gigafactory

Recruitments are on the way with the De Nora Group for 2200 people ahead of the opening of a Gigafactory for the generation of green hydrogen.

The new plant of the company, specialized in electrochemistry and sustainable technologies and for the green economy, will create direct employment in the company and also at the related level.

DE NORA HIRES WITH NEW GIGAFACTORY IN MILAN

The company itself broke the news in a recent press release. De Nora Italy Hydrogen Technologiesa company controlled by the Italian company Industrie De Nora, has announced the start of work for the construction of a new Gigafactory dedicated to the production of green hydrogen.

With the opening of the site, De Nora will realize 200 direct hires and will create employment for 2000 resources at ancillary levelthus generating job opportunities for a total of 2,200 people.

The completion of the construction works on the production hub will take place between the end of 2025 and the first months of 2026.

The new Gigafactory will be built in Lombardy, a Cernusco sul Naviglio (Milan) and it is destined to become the largest Italian hub for the production of electrolysers, and one of the largest in Europe, by 2030.

In addition to the creation of numerous jobs, De Nora will also bring important benefits from the project economic and environmental point of view. THE NEW GIGAFACTORY DE NORA

Based on the developments of the project, the economic resources already allocated may increase with the addition of a further 63 million euros.

The resources are financed through the PNRR – National Recovery and Resilience Plan and granted under the IPCEI ministerial fundaimed at supporting companies that carry out Important Projects of Common European Interest.

The new De Nora plant is in fact functional to achieving the sustainability objectives of the European Green Deal. The site will have an extension of 25,000 m2 and will house electrolysers, systems and components for water electrolysis and fuel cells. It will also operate as a facility serving the other divisions of the Group.
