For the moment it is only an idea intended for residents of the State of New York (USA), which allows you to register driver’s license, learner’s permit and ID card. Furthermore, the application can be downloaded by Android and iOS users at any time (and without any payment).
The benefit of this service is immense. It allows you to quickly show your identity documents, as well as increase your privacy and security. New York Mobile ID, in fact, allows you to hide a lot of personal information during a purchase, so as to prevent anyone from coming into possession of some sensitive details. However, as can easily be imagined, there are some requirements to keep in mind.
First of all the telephone number must be registered, and then enter the digital ID on a single device of your choice. After that, a physical version of the document in question will be needed, which must never disappear under any circumstances. And last but not least, a photo of your face is required to verify your identity.
