Interpump accounts, the numbers for the 1st quarter of 2024

Interpump management hypothesizes that – with the current group perimeter – 2024 could end in a range between +1 and -5%

Interpump – a company listed on the FTSEMib and the STAR segment and active in the production of high pressure professional piston pumps and in the hydraulics sector – has released the financial results for the 1st quarter of 2024, the period closed with revenues for 545.87 million euros, down 7.8% compared to the 592.35 million achieved in the first three months of the previous year; with the same group perimeter, turnover would have fallen by 9.6%. Also contracting gross operating margin (-14.9%), which went from 149.64 million to 127.38 million euros; consequently, the marginality it worsened from 25.3% to 23.3%. Interpump closed the 1st quarter of 2024 with a Net income (excluding the share of third parties) of 67.24 million euros, compared to the 85.12 million accounted for in the first three months of 2023.

At the end of March 2024 thenet debt of the group had fallen to 452.8 million euros, compared to 486.5 million at the beginning of the year; on the same date the group had commitments for the acquisition of shareholdings in companies already controlled for a total of 78.9 million euros.

In the 1st quarter of 2024, Interpump’s operational activities generated a cash flow of 78.16 million euros, before investments for 41.86 million.

With the elements in its possession to date and based on the evolution of the general framework in the coming months, Interpump’s management hypothesizes that – with the current group perimeter – 2024 could end in a range between +1 and -5% as regards turnover, while for EBITDA the probable range will fluctuate around 23.5%.
