Giovanni Ferrero, CEO of the multinational company from Alba, is in 25th place in the Bloomberg ranking of the richest men in the world; he also overtakes Zuckerberg, who has “fallen” to 28th position

Nutella beats Facebook. The Piedmontese snack of bread and gianduia tears up the virtual world of the Metaverse. So it is if you look at Bloomberg’s ranking of billionaires, that index that takes the trouble, every month, to update the assets of the ultra-rich on the planet. Well, while Mr Zuckerberg has to deal with a Metaverse revolution that does not take off, he actually sinks the Meta stock on the stock exchange by burning 80 billion dollars and unleashing the anger of the shareholders, Ferrero sails quietly, on bread and Nutella, towards new records.

So much so that the business courses are reflected in the piggy bank of the scroungers, both those of the old economy (the fourth richest man in the world becomes an industrialist, Gautam Adani) as in that of the new economy. To date Giovanni Ferrero, CEO of the multinational company from Alba, is in 25th place among the richest men on the planet: $ 38.9 billion in portfolio, about three billion more than last year. The “poor” Zuckerberg falls instead, unstitched by more than 80 billion dollars, to the 28th position with “only” 38.2 billion in his pocket.

After all, up there, they all lose a little bit of money. Even Elon Musk, the richest man in the world with 200 billion of assets (-66 billion), loses them today grappling with the relaunch of Twitter and so is Amazon tycon Jeff Bezos (-65 billion) and assets of 127 billion. All the fault of the technology stocks that after a long run are screwing up in fear of an upcoming recession. If the crisis is at least we can predict that it will not be too bitter.
