BancoBPM is down. A decidedly positive performance, however, for Leonardo. Maire in sharp decline at MidCap, while Intercos gains 10%

The major indices of the Italian Stock Exchange recorded fractional declineswhile the main European financial centers are confirmed in positive territory.

At 2.15 pm FTSEMib it lost 0.56% to 34,052 points, after having fluctuated between a minimum of 34,051 points and a maximum of 34,299 points. At the same time the FTSE Italia All Share it was down 0.54%. Minus sign also for the FTSE Italia Mid Cap (-0.52%) and for the FTSE Italia Star (-0.26%).

The bitcoin it came close to 62,500 dollars (around 58,000 euros).

The Btp-Bund spread remains below 135 points, with the yield on the 10-year BTP falling below 3.8%.

L’EUR fluctuates around $1.075.

Always in the spotlight i banking sector securities.

The BancoBPM loses 0.76% to 6.296 euros. The institute communicated i financial results for the 1st quarter of 2024 and provided some financial guidance for 2024. Management anticipated that the net profit forecast will be updated when the half-year results are presented.

Leonardo it is up 4.33% at 22.39 euros. The aerospace company communicated i financial results for the 1st quarter of 2024, period closed with sharply increasing revenues and profitability. Furthermore, management confirmed the financial estimates for 2024, released during the preparation of the 2023 financial statements.

Profit taking up Campari (-1.75% to 9.904 euros)after the strong rise achieved in the previous session.

At MidCap the decline of stands out Maire (-5.55% to 7.235 euros). The company announced that 2,326,920 shares were placed, corresponding to approximately 0.7% of the total number of ordinary shares, at a unit price of 7.28 euros, for a total gross value of approximately 16.9 million. The price incorporates a 5% discount compared to the closing of Maire shares in the session of 7 May 2024 (7.66 euros).

The negative trend continues Iren (-2.02%).

Definitely a positive day, however Intercos (+10.1% to 14.38 euros)after the release of the financial results for the 1st quarter of 2024. The company’s management confirmed the guidance for the whole of 2024 and reported that in April 2024 the company’s order book (excluding contract manufacturing) amounted to 356 million euro, up by 37 million on last year.
