Latteria Soresina Società Cooperativa Agricola has declared the voluntary recall of three batches of fresh pasteurized milk, both whole and partially skimmed, due to reports of an unusual flavor by some consumers. Both Latteria Soresina and Esselunga, which markets two of the affected batch types, immediately announced the withdrawal of the products from the shelves. Both companies invite consumers in possession of bottles belonging to these lots not to consume them and to return them to the point of sale for a refund. They also assure that the recall is precautionary and are conducting an investigation to identify the cause of the problem.
