Renault has recently unveiled the new 5 but they are already thinking of another return which will certainly be appreciated by fans
The brand Renault is following an approach that other manufacturers have already opted for, bringing back historical names for its models of the present and future. TOAt the Geneva Motor Show, the 5 was unveiled and it became a full electric car already approved by critics.
The price of the new R5 is 25,000 euros. Renault aims to drop below the 20,000 threshold with the Twingo waiting next year. In the meantime, we are also starting to talk about a possible further return, at least in name, since some rumors lead us to think that a completely new model will soon arrive but which will be linked, in some way, to a myth from a long time ago .
In fact, during 2024, with market debut scheduled for next year, Renault should also present the new 4a full electric car about which rumors have circulated in recent weeks.
Renault, we are thinking about the return of the 4 in the future
The name is nothing new for fans of the Losanga company, since a car of this type was produced from 1961 to 1992, with an epic that lasted for over thirty years. In recent days, some hypotheses have already emerged on what the new car could look like. The Web site “Motor.es” created a first render that we propose in this shot.
It is a car that has nothing to do with the 5 and which seems much larger and tends towards the concept of an SUV. The car will be born on new AmpR Small platform, the same as the 5 but, as mentioned, notable differences are expected on the design front. There will be some features in common with the old 4 of the past such as, for example, the shape of the straight and sloping tailgate but also the circular headlights which are immediately evident at first glance.
Obviously, this is a rendering and not a definitive version but being based on spy photos one can imagine what similarities there are with the actual model. The engines of the new Renault 4 they should be 70 and 110 k, with the batteries which, instead, will be 40 and 50 kWh with autonomy between 300 and 400 km. In a few months the car will be officially presented.
