new version of the SUV for those who love off-roading

Nissan raises the engine revs with an even more “masculine” version of its X-Trail SUV. With the basic model, the Japanese company intended to provide a concrete response to the desire of adventurous souls to test their driving skills on the most challenging trails.

Now comes yet another little, big beast, a tough car endowed with warrior DNA, called N-Trek. In addition to the mechanics, the look, the passenger compartment and the engines evolve, interpreted in an innovative way.

The grill sets it apart from the rest of the family

Specific measures for the bodywork give it instant recognisability. As for the front, it is almost the same as the standard proposal. Almost, mind you: the new dark finish around the chrome V-Motion grille sets it apart from the rest of the family.

In gunmetal colour, the lower part of the front and rear bumpers is a further distinctive feature, as are the black rear-view mirror caps and the integrated LED fog lights. To stand out from its counterparts, the optional package features rubber mats and a reversible luggage compartment liner.

On the colors, the customers have a rich assortment to choose from with two metallic shades (Diamond Black and Ceramic Grey) and three pearlescent shades (Pearl White, Champagne Gray and Geramic Grey). Furthermore, two-tone liveries are available, with a contrasting black roof.

The exclusive option of e-4FORCE all-wheel drive

On any terrain and in all weather conditions, the Nissan X-Trail N-Trek ensures noteworthy performance, as the entire Nissan range has accustomed its fans.

The e-POWER propulsion system combines an electric module with a thermal one for brilliant and linear acceleration, without the burden of recharging at the plug. Not an insignificant fact, considering the infrastructures that are still quite poor in numerous countries, including Italy, despite the incentives promised by the Government in favor of the ecological change.

The powertrain can also be combined with e-4ORCE all-wheel drive, an exclusive solutiondesigned within the ranks of the Japanese manufacturer, which includes electric motors on each axle and intelligent control of the driving force.

Thanks to the power regulation in thousandths of a second, control is precise and immediate on every track and in any circumstance. When the sensors detect a change in grip on one or more wheels, for example in the presence of water, snow or ice, the system automatically recalibrates the driving force on the individual wheel in a ten-thousandth of a second.

Arnaud Charpentier, Vice President Marketing & Mobility of the AMIEO region (Africa, Middle East, India, Europe & Oceania), recounted the development path, which concluded with the birth of the N-Trek: We began the development of X-Trail N-Trek with the simple motto: Let’s Get Dirtywhich embodies the spirit of those who love adventure, life in the open air and want to use their vehicle to enjoy free time in company.

X-Trail N-Trek has an attractive look thanks to exclusive design details, new water resistant interior and two-tone exterior paint options. All these elements combined with the electrified Nissan e-POWER powertrain and e-4ORCE 4WD technology will guarantee our customers electrifying adventures”.
