It feels like playing PlayStation

True revolution in the world of motors: you drive this car without steering wheels or pedals. It’s like a video game, unbelievable.

In recent times the world of motors has been in a phase of true revolution. Many of the “pillars” that until now have characterized not only the way of producing cars, but the very essence and structure of cars are rapidly being demolished.

Just think, for example, of environmental sustainability which has become a central theme in industry, pushing more and more companies to invest in electric engines instead of classic diesel and petrol engines. The changes, however, do not end here.

From increasingly sophisticated safety devices, and then again to infotainment and connectivity, now an essential part of cars. Yet, we could soon go even further: can you imagine a car without a steering wheel and pedals?

With this car everything changes! No pedals or steering wheel

The now highly advanced autonomous driving systems have in a certain sense become accustomed to the idea of a car that drives itself, without the need for a driver. However, the e-Miles company offers a real video game scenario. You drive this model… with a Joystick!

This vehicle, a light quadricycle (totally electric as today’s industry demands), is called e-Miles in homage to the start-up that produced it. After the prototype unveiled in 2021, we have finally reached the next step with a vehicle that has all the makings of being revolutionary. With 2.95 meters in length, 1.50 in width, 1.68 in height and just 600 kg in weight, it is a vehicle with small dimensions but absolutely manageable and practical to drive.

The design is ultra modern, almost futuristic, with a maxi tailgate to show the interior of the car. A bit like a spaceship. The real revolution, however, is as mentioned once you enter the vehicle: no pedals or steering wheel, and not even the classic instrument panel that we are now used to in modern cars.

The car is driven with a joystick, a bit like those on the PlayStation, and instead of the instrument panel there is a 23-inch maxi screen, where in the prototype you could also see the images of the digital rear-view mirrors. In the new version, however, traditional mirrors would have been opted for.

The vehicle, which was 3D printed, has a 10.8 HP engine and can reach a top speed of up to 85 km/h. The battery guarantees a range of approximately 180 km. It is not yet known when the vehicle will land on the market, but it has certainly already attracted the attention of motorists.
