Opel Grandland, a maxi SUV from the German brand, arrives on the scene with a new generation. The relationship with the Opel Experimental concept car is evident, which is the source of inspiration for some design choices, including the 3D Vizor with the Blitz logo illuminated in the center and the words “Opel” perpetually illuminated on the back. The innovations, however, do not just stop at the surface but also go deeper, starting from the STLA Medium platformnative BEV, and with a flat battery configuration that allows for a capacity of 98 kWh.

The aesthetic innovations of the Opel Grandland

Opel Grandland it stands with a remarkable size, which instills solidity at first glance. The alloy wheels up to 20 inches contribute to this aspect of robustness, completing the overall image harmoniously. The characteristic element of the car, however, is the Vizor 3D, the face, made more evident by Edge Light technology. This type of style is called “Opel Compass”, the compass, introduced with the Experimental concept car. It is based on the central crease of the bonnet, with all other elements organized horizontally with the emblem “Electrified Blitz” in the center.

Another new feature are the Intelli-Lux Pixel Matrix HD, a technology that debuts on the Opel Grandland. The system guarantees over 51,200 elements for high definition light distribution and projects a much brighter and more homogeneous light beam than Matrix Light Standard, allowing other road users not to be dazzled. A sophisticated mechanism, which reacts with traffic and surrounding road conditions, through the use of cameras.
