GOODBYE PETROL – Mini adds another model to its crossover family with the new one Mini Aceman, a proposal that will join the recently renewed Countryman, positioning itself in a lower market segment, the same as the Fiat 600 so to speak. And unlike both its older sister Countryman and the small Turin SUV, the English crossover will be solely electric. There Mini Aceman it will in fact be offered in two variants: the base of the range AND from 184 HP and 290 Nm and the most powerful SELF with 218 HP and 330 Nm of torque. The first one will have one drums from 40.7 kWh for an autonomy of 310km in the WLTP cycle, the second can travel up to 406 km thanks to a 54.2 kWh battery. MINIMALIST COCKPIT – For the interior, the Mini designers wanted to make intelligent use of the compact space available, managing to find room for 5 passengers and a volume of 300 liters in the boot. The minimalism guided the hand of the brand’s stylists, who designed an environment similar to that of the 3-door, with a single 9.44-inch circular OLED touch screen in the center of the dashboard. Most of the functions are integrated here, but some physical switches remain for starting the car, parking brake, gear selector or volume control. The system of infotainment It is inspired in its operation by that of smartphones and integrates the new intelligent assistant called Spike. The driver can recall 8 different Mini Experience Modes (Personal, Go-Kart, Vivid, Core, Green, Timeless, Balance and Trail), each of which corresponds to a dominant color on the textile surfaces of the dashboard and ambient lighting.
