Delfin and Caltagirone desert the Generali assembly – Last hour

Delfin, the holding of the heirs of Leonardo Del Vecchio, and the Caltagirone group did not participate in the Generali meeting, which lasted just over two hours, where 49.8% of the capital was present compared to 63.2% at the meeting of the past year.

From the reading of the major shareholders made during the proceedings by the president of Generali, Andrea Sironi, Delfin holds a stake in Generali equal to 9.93% and the Caltagirone group 6.19%, behind Mediobanca which remains the largest shareholder with 13 .11% of the capital. The meeting approved all the items on the agenda with Bulgarian majorities, also due to the fact that the meeting, where the vote could only be expressed through the designated representative, was deserted by the two major private shareholders. 99.9% of the capital present voted in favor of the budget and similar majorities said yes to the dividend and the buyback. Only the votes on remuneration fell below the 97% threshold.
