The news of this new bonus offered by the Government to motorists who agree to install a device on their car was well received especially by operators in the sector.
As also reported AdnKronos, Andrea Arzàpresident of Assogasliquidi-Federchimica, announced in a note: “The advantages of this intervention will be both for the many consumers who cannot afford the purchase of a new car, despite the incentives for new registrations, and for the Italian components and LPG distribution industry that we represent and which is a global excellence, and finally for all the related industries, i.e. the many workshops scattered throughout the national territory”.
How to receive the bonus
As can be seen from the words of Arza, it is a switching to an LPG or methane engine. The contribution offered by the Government is equal to 400 euros to install an LPG system and up to 800 euros for a methane system. In reality it is a passage to bi-fuel, or to dual power supplywhich will complement the requests to switch to a clean fuel, less polluting. The bonus will be paid in the form of a discount at the time of the intervention, and will then be reimbursed to the installer by the company manufacturing the system who will in turn receive it via tax credit.
