Everyone knows the frozen yogurt, America’s answer to our ice cream. A little less sweet but light and with less fat than the classic one, it includes milk and yogurt instead of cream. Another version of this food has been becoming popular for some time, especially close to summer when you are looking for a fresh and light snack, possibly easy to prepare.

How to prepare

The ingredients what you need for this recipe are 250 g of Greek yogurt (or other type of your choice), 30 g honey or sweetener (optional), berries, strawberries, some walnuts and a sprinkling of grated coconut. In a bowl, mix the yogurt with the honey, line a not too large baking tray with baking paper and spread the yogurt leveling well so that you have a thin and uniform layer. Cut the fruit into small pieces after washing and drying it and arrange on the layer of yogurt, add a few coarsely chopped walnut and sprinkle with grated coconut.

Place in the freezer and when ready to serve break it up with your hands to get lots of pieces, but try to eat them straight away otherwise the yoghurt it will start to melt. What you don’t consume you can safely store in the freezer
