BNL BNP Paribas has signed an agreement with the sector unions which provides well 750 new hires in the bank thanks to a voluntary exit plan.

The agreement is aimed at promoting the generational change. Thanks to the exit of approximately 1000 Group workers young people will be included in support of the transformation and evolution path that the bank is carrying out.

BNL HIRING WITH UNION AGREEMENT

The Group itself broke the news in a recent press release. BNL BNP Paribas has signed an important agreement with the Italian Autonomous Banking Federation (Fabi) and other trade union organizations for the voluntary exit of workers close to retirement or pensionable And the entry of young people in the bank.

In essence, the agreement provides that people who have reached the requirements for the old-age pension or are close to reaching them can ask on a voluntary basis to leave the bank, who will accompany them to the exit either through a incentive and with the use of the extraordinary benefits of the “Solidarity Fund to support the income, employment and professional retraining of credit personnel”.

Thanks to these incentivized early retirements, there may be new hires at BNL for 750 resources.

THE GENERATIONAL REPLACEMENT PLAN

According to the provisions of the agreement, for the so-called profiles client facingthat is, the figures who work in contact with customers, new hires in the bank will be equivalent to exits. Therefore there will be a ratio of 1 to 1, 1 hire for each worker who leaves service.

In general, the Fabi union underlines in a note, the replacement rate will be more than 85%. Furthermore, Fabi says, the bank guarantees in any case 150 stable hires.

According to what Fabi reports, the agreement signed between the banking group and the trade unions. establishes further important innovations for all bank staff, namely:

  • stabilization of 93 workers currently employed with fixed-term contracts;
  • hiring of another 93 workers Temporary;
  • recognition of the meal voucher to smart working staff, albeit at a reduced rate of 4 euros;
  • increase to 8 euros meal vouchers for in-person workers, with a re-measured increase for part-time staff;
  • increase in contribution to the Pension Fund from 4.2% to 4.5%.
