The first presentation of the book arrives «Live life“, written by Giuseppe Silvestri and published by the historic Neapolitan publishing house la Giannini Editore, in the La Cisterna series. The appointment is scheduled for Wednesday, July 3rd at 6pm at bookshelf “I’m in”.

Alberto Della Sala will greet the guests, the editorial director Giulia Giannini and the teacher Dario Santoro will dialogue with the author. She moderates the event Valentina Dago.

The story begins in Napoli in the early nineties and will take place mainly in Spainto then conclude, with a final surprise, once again in the Neapolitan capital.

This continuous wandering will lead him to discover the exhilarating thrill ofamore and to get to know an infinite number of characters full of humanity, but there will also be no shortage of bitterness and atrocious pain which are the inevitable but necessary seasoning of the life of every human being.

Giuseppe Silvestrithe author of the book, was born in Naples in 1954 and began his career in school which, despite himself, he left some time later for a job in a credit institution.

He will dedicate the nostalgic “L’aeroplanino di carta” (The Paper Airplane) to his teaching years, a story published in 2020, which narrates, precisely, his personal experience as a young elementary school teacher.

Influenced by the novels of Jack Kerouac, the Beat Generation, jazz and classical Neapolitan theatre, he dedicates himself intensely to theater and poetry, his greatest passions.

Thus he gave life to a large production of poems, stories, monologues and theatrical comedies which were performed with considerable success.

Of a cheerful and extroverted nature, he continues his cultural activities to this day despite the blindnesswhich occurred due to a severe form of malignant myopia.
