“Alzheimer’s Planet on the side of those who care”. The manual for everyday life seen from the eyes of caregivers. The book will be presented in L’Aquila in a meeting scheduled for Thursday 20 June at 6.00 pm, in the Sala Benedetto Croce in the Palazzo dell’Emiciclo.
It is a manual created to address and problematize the emotional implications caused by Alzheimer’s in those who provide assistance. The meeting was promoted byTogether for Alzheimer’s Associationprovince of L’Aquila, ODV-ETS together with Corecom Abruzzoalways attentive to the most fragile sections of society, those same groups who increasingly become victims of online scams and fraud.
The doctors participated in the creation of the volume “Alzheimer’s Planet from the side of those who care”. Roberta Bernardi, Daniela Fiorenzai, Alessandra Cavicchio, Tommasina Russo, Patrizia Sucapane and the illustrator Alessia Antoninthe.
They will speak at the meeting moderated by the journalist Roberta Galeotti: Raffaele Danielevice mayor of L’Aquila, Manuela Tursinicouncilor for social policies of the municipality of L’Aquila, the professor Carmine Marinihead of the Neurology Stroke Unit of San Salvatore for many years, the professor Rocco Totarohead of the Demyelinating Diseases Center.
