A Sunday of culture and music organized by the cultural association “Vivi Diano con Noi” with the collaboration of the Municipality of Diano Marina: Sunday 16 June in Via Genova at Diano Marina at 6.00 pm, the meeting with the Ligurian singer-songwriter will be held Simone Alessio aka “Garibaldi” who will present his first book “Protomorphosis – The origin of change“, and will perform live some of his songs from the new album and revisited Italian classics accompanied by guitarist Fabrizio Sodaro.

After the great success in Levico Terme last Saturday in which the singer-songwriter presented the same show, having as speaker a member of the Italian Ministry of Culture and president of AGIS Triveneto Franco Oss Noser, Garibaldi returns to his city.

Simone Alessio aka “Garibaldi” is a Ligurian singer-songwriter with Balkan folk sounds. His lyrics are ironic/philosophical in nature. In his career he has performed on several important stages, which have consolidated the public and critical success that accompanies his recording projects.

“Protomorphosis – The origin of change” is an interactive novel where the reader has the great responsibility of changing the course of events and helping Victor – the last pure human in a world made up of seven kingdoms governed by a totalitarian transhumanist regime – in his utopian plan to restore humanity and freedom to his species. The book, whose preface is written by the Imperia writer Giulia Quaranta Provenzano and the cover was designed by the Imperia artist Stefano Cassiano, contains a preview of the lyrics and explanation of the Ligurian singer-songwriter’s new album being released. The song “Pizzica anno 3000” is set in a future where humanity seems to have become extinct and men live under the control of a transhumanist totalitarian regime. Every single action is controlled by drones and law enforcement agencies that have robotic appearance and movements. This world is the result of man’s self-destructive nature and the tendency towards inhumanity that began many years before. The last hope for saving humanity is for the only human candidate to win the elections as opposed to automatons who support the regime.

At the end of the presentation there will be the opportunity to have a copy signed by the author.
