MAXXI continues its collaboration with the Maria and Goffredo Bellonci Foundation by hosting the presentation of the project update First Treasure of the Italian literary language of the twentieth century and contemporary.
Published in 2007 in electronic format, the First Treasure is now available online and collects the texts of 115 winning and finalist books between 1947 and 2021 written by authors such as, among others, Calvino, Eco, Gadda, Ginzburg, Mazzucco, Morante, Pasolini, Trevi, Veronesi. Created in collaboration with the Accademia della Crusca and FUIS – Italian Unitary Writers’ Federation, it makes an important intangible heritage universally accessible, opening up to future and dynamic expandability.
