The Ecodays have finally revealed the new winner in the Ecofor Books, the competition designed to highlight environmental and sustainability issues in the literary field. After Danilo Zagariaauthor of the volume On the high seas. Ducks, ecology, Anthropocene (Add Editore), the award for the Environmental themes and local authors section went to Francesca Volpeauthor of the volume Tuscany in Renault 4, journey on the paths of ecophilia and freedom (Infinito Editore).

Still in progress, however, theEcofor Cinefestivalwhich projects on the screen of the Agorà film club the 22 works selected from short films and spot themed commercials green. The winners, in this case, will be announced tomorrow, Friday 10 May: they will be decided by a “double” jury, composed on one side of Giovanni Bogani (The nation), Marco Migli (director Quinews-Toscanamedia), Paolo Marconcini (former mayor and former president of Geofor), Nicola Zappa (director), Stefano Pratesi (director and screenwriter), Leonardo Baldini (photographer and Dop) e Raffaella Afeltra (coordinator of Ecofor Cinefestival); on the other, one formed by some students of the 5A Costruzioni, Ambiente e Territorio of the Itcg “Enrico Fermi”: Francesco Carannante, Luca Parrella, Alberto Arrighini, Andrea Bertelli, Luciano Gialdini.

Meanwhile, as per the Ecodays programme, the initiatives relating to food and wine excellence also continued, this time with the talk dedicated to Adriano’s Centrocarni. The owner, Adriano Miniero, prepared soppressata and liver crostini on site, to the delight of the public present.
