Book Fair, how traffic changes in the Lingotto area

Construction sites suspended, subway open until late and interchange at Palavela. Thus the Lingotto district is revolutionized for five days in view of the most awaited event in Turin, the International Book Fair. There are three main innovations that interest the people of Turin and which have been adopted by the Municipality of Turin.

There is one ongoing construction site that will be suspended for the duration of the Book Fair, which begins on May 9th and will end on May 13th. This is the Corso Unità d’Italia construction site; at the same time the roadway will be freed and the transit of cars will be facilitated. Furthermore, the Palaveda car park will be used as an interchange, especially for motorists with disabilities and for those who use sharing cars. So the city instructed car, bike and scooter operators to position their vehicles there. Inside the Lingotto courtyard there will be parking for private bicycles.

Finally, the metro will exceptionally close later: on Friday and Saturday it will close at 1.30am, last ride from Fermi and Benghazi at 1am; Thursday, Sunday and Monday at 00.30, with the last ride from Fermi and Benghazi at midnight. Here how to reach the Lingotto Fiere by public transport.
