Saturday 11 May at 5.00 pm there will be a free event with aperitif offered by the AEMME company of Ravenna at the Grand Hotel Azzurra in Lido Adriano (Ra) with NICOLO’ DE DEVITIIS (from the television program “le iene”) and FABRIZIO CORONA who they will present the book by Apostoli Monti: “mamma justice knows what she is doing” which deals with the phenomenon of bad justice in Italy.
This evening continues the cycle of meetings that already took place on 10 April at the Grand Hotel Azzurra in Lido Adriano (Ra) and the great event on 4 May in one of the most famous clubs in Italy, the QI Clubbing in Brescia, where Fabrizio Corona, in front of around 3 thousand people full of models and entrepreneurs from the Brescia area, spoke on stage about the problems with the judiciary and with the means of mass communication.
Fabrizio Corona explained why he supported the publication of the book written by the ladies Apostoli Monti, underlining that “the Italian justice system is an old system that has been in need of reform for years. Unfortunately, it often happens that it is unable to guarantee the common citizen who, if without a large sum of money, he cannot even defend himself, missing the essential element of cross-examination. Too frequently people are ‘killed’ by the media, finding their lives ruined. The path of those who have to deal with the law , it is a difficult and often painful path that also involves the people closest to the accused and their families, when the charges, after very long trials and a lot of money spent to keep this whole bureaucratic justice system together, are transformed into sentences, we enter into an infernal funnel. In this book you will learn not only about a case which has many dark sides and which we try to clarify… This book also tells the story of the deformation of the media, what we are experiencing in this historical period configures the media pillory as an act automatic whenever you are dealing with a case that emerges through the media. We started work on this volume trying to bring order to the whole case involving the Apostoli Monti family and over the time of this work we got to know each other on a human level.”
